We are a registered non-profit organization both in India and in USA since last 14 years now. But we are in service since 1989. We have tax-exempt status in USA and ATG in India. We also have FCRA. Our focus is to serve and help the children and mothers. We are providing love, security, hope, nutrition, value based education, skill, health and much more to over 7800 children and 600 mothers every day under 28 projects. We have over 148 part time teachers and 36 full time employees (karyakartas) at Manav Sadhna. We are very happy and proud that most of our full time employees are from our children that came to us 12-15 years back as street child under a project. Now they are in or through the college and are helping others like them while earning a salary. We operate mostly in and around Ahmedabad from a very historical and inspirational land of Gandhi Ashram.

     We have many amazing success stories of young people becoming teachers, engineers, and doctor, artists and much more. Many families and older folks have gotten life saving supports from Manav Sadhna over the years. Hundreds of young volunteers came to serve with us and received lots of love and a very special experience each year. We have been able to inspire many people to serve and help many other organizations in service. All of our projects are grass root projects making a direct difference in the lives of thousands of poor and needy people each day.      We have a nice group of volunteers here in USA also. Besides raising funds for our India activity we also do some service projects to bring smiles, fun and happiness in the lives of our Indian senior citizens living in USA.

     Thank you for considering India and Manav Sadhna as your choice of volunteering. We have increasing numbers of volunteers serving with us at Manav Sadhna every year. It is purely the world of mouth attracting many people each year from all over the world for a month up to 2 years. Since last couple of years, 60 to70 volunteers are serving at Manav Sadhna and that is likely to go up. Any one from any where in the world is very welcome to serve with us. We do not require any special qualifications, languages or specific long length of time. What we look for is a sincere heart and soul ready to serve with love and compassion. We have many success stories of all these years of volunteers getting a new and positive direction in there lives and also giving amazing results and inspiration to us and our kids at Manav Sadhna.

     We have housing available (separate for male and female) very close to Manav Sadhna campus. We also serve a vegetarian lunch every day for our volunteers at our kitchen. You will have to manage the other meals. Both housing facilities have a kitchen with required appliances.
